I am Nico the blacksmith from the colonial times. I make all kinds of things like swords, shields, and tools.
If something is too hot, I cool it off with water. Horseshoes are important, so I make them. I use hammers, saws, and nails. The shop is made out of bricks because of the fire.
The fire is for heating up metal and making a shape out of it. I make a shape with the iron on an anvil. I use a hammer for shaping the iron.
See you soon in my shop!
Hi Nico I love that you like to be a blacksmith, this is an awesome passion, what happens if you dont get the water fast enough and the tool stays too hot or something? Come visit my blog if you get a chance, https://afascinatingblogbykira20.edublogs.org/wp-admin/index.php?page=msreader.php
Hi kw3732,
The tool will melt back to iron, but I would be able to reshape it, and then put it in the water. Thank you for commenting!

Hi Nico,
I really enjoyed reading your blog post. You did a great job with your model and your photos really added to your writing. Luke wrote a great post about being a bucket maker. Perhaps you would like to check out his blog: http://mvcsstudent70.edublogs.org/2019/05/02/buckets-and-barrels/#comment-60
All the best,
